Introduction To Messianic Eschatology - End Times Section

In this work I wish to give you an overall view as to what your Bible says will happen and the sequencing of events as the Bible describes them to be sequenced. I also wish to discredit false end times doctrines being taught by so many. If doctrines don't fit with the teachings of the Lord and the Apostles they are false doctrines. This is preaching another gospel even though the Bible is used to do it. Some cults also use the Bible to preach another gospel. When I say end times, I mean events concerning the tribulation, the restoration of Israel, the rapture, and so forth. It is important that you have at least an overview as to what to expect so you don't get deceived or confused as end times events unfold.

Math.7:15 " Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."

There are several million Hebrews living in Israel now. I believe the figure is approaching 5 million. Hebrews have been living there in the land, calling it Israel for almost ½ of a century now. There are efforts on the part of world leaders and Israeli secular leaders to give parts of what is Israel away. They have already given away what is called the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt. Israel is on a wholesale basis entering into peace treaties with their ungodly aggressive neighbors. You'd think they'd at least learn from the Old Testament what happens when they try this type of thing. There is a moslem shrine standing on the site of the temple, Mount Moriah. The country of Israel allows any Jewish person to return and become a citizen but as of late has decided that any Jewish person professing faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is no longer a Jew and thus unable to emigrate. They had an Israeli Supreme Court decision and a subsequent appeal on this point. Mind you a person can go there claiming Jewish lineage and profess hinduism or membership in any cult, claim to be an atheist, etc. and have no trouble emigrating and obtaining citizenship. Of course the US government, the UN etc. don't make a sound about this religious discrimination and violation of rights. You don't have to be a practicing Jew, you just need to show a Jewish lineage to emigrate to Israel and obtain Israeli citizenship unless you are a disciple of The Lord Jesus Christ. If the so called church were to care and speak up, the White House, Congress, and the UN could bring an end to this human rights violation like it does in other parts of the world. The so called church seems to be very comfortable with Israel keeping Jewish believers from returning to live in Israel. Hmmmmmm. You better believe the stage is getting set for an unfolding of prophesy, I can't say when exactly but we should learn the scriptures regarding such events.

2Tim.3:16 - 17 "All scripture is given by inspiration of god, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

What I will do is briefly discuss some of the false teachings being propagated by many and point out the scriptures that directly refute these teachings. I will only be using direct straightforward passages leaving little room for any interpretative error. Then I will give a synopsis of what the Bible tells us will happen, again using clearly understood scriptures the whole way through. The Bible including end times doctrines is meant to be understood. The exact timing, and the fine details are for the Lord to reveal but the general overview of the events is easily gleaned from the scriptures. Just let the scriptures speak.

Those that hold themselves out to be the church of the Lord Jesus Christ basically promote three or four end times doctrines, all of which are wrong. You can see how subtle I am. I say this because they directly contradict the sayings of the Lord Jesus Christ contained in the New Testament. These so called churches also hold doctrines that are in direct contradiction to each other, thus presenting a church that is in disagreement and division regarding many earth shattering events concerning end times. This creates division, doubt and confusion which are things satan likes to see the disciples of The Lord Jesus Christ suffer from. Think about it. Only one of their doctrines on end times could possibly be right (they are actually all wrong but I'm arguing theoretically here for a minute). Yet they respect those teaching differently even though they by their own definition, these people would be teaching the believers false doctrines. Nowhere in the Bible does it say we are to open ourselves to and be tolerant of false doctrines. The Bible tells us to break fellowship with those holding to and teaching false doctrines (2Jn.9-11 1Tim.6:3-5). If you think about it these so called churches are also guilty of the same when it comes to other doctrines such as teachings regarding the baptism in the Holy Spirit, women preachers, teachers and ministers, and denominationalism, to name a few. A church that has the Lord Jesus Christ as it's head doesn't operate in such a ridiculous fashion. These so called churches don't care which doctrine you choose as long as it's not the doctrine taught by The Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostles contained in the bible.

The more popular end times position these so called churches teach is a pre-trib rapture position. This essentially says that Jesus will return and take all the believers to heaven for seven years during which time a tribulation occurs and then returns to earth with them and sits in the temple in Jerusalem for 1000 years. So in this theory the believers are removed from the earth before the trouble starts. The mid-trib and post-trib theories are similar but have the rapture timed during the middle or at the end of the tribulation. These theories have a restoration of Israel in them. They also have Jesus on earth in the temple for 1000 years. The other popular one is an amillennial theory. This theory calls for no restoration of Israel. It does not have Jesus returning to dwell on the earth. It basically has no millennium because it says we are now in the millennium. These are all false teachings. This is not the true gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let's see how Jesus and the Apostles taught end times doctrine according to your Bible.
